A meeting on anti-dumping industry defense against China's aluminum profiles was held in Foshan, with representatives from Thailand and Israel.

On November 22, regarding the anti-dumping investigations launched by Thailand and Israel in July 2024 against Chinese aluminum profiles, the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce jointly held a phase work meeting in Foshan City to review the progress of the industry's defense work since the filing of the case and to discuss the next steps. The meeting received strong support from the Foshan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Foshan Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, and the Nanhai District Aluminum Profile Industry Association. He pointed out that China's aluminum profile industry chain and supply chain are complete and controllable, and product standards and quality have reached the international advanced level, and have always provided high-quality products and services to global customers. However, at the same time, aluminum profiles also face a very severe situation of trade friction, and new trade barriers from countries such as the EU and the United States have emerged in recent years, making the international economic and trade environment complex and difficult. He suggested that Chinese enterprises and industries need to further improve their risk awareness and strengthen their ability to cope with international challenges; he hoped that local governments will continue to provide guidance and support to the aluminum industry. Director Mo Xinda introduced the complexity of the current international trade environment from the perspective of the aluminum industry chain; he conducted a detailed analysis and judgment of the similarities and differences between the two investigations in Thailand and Israel, and put forward the key points and focal points of the next defense work; he emphasized the importance of the diligence and due diligence of Chinese lawyers and their litigation experience, hoping to further leverage the role of foreign lawyers and strive for positive results in the litigation work.
